2013 Winter Relief Steering Committee

The primary purpose of this website is to provide information for the Winter Relief Week hosted by St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, and First Presbyterian Church. During the week the shelter is located at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Annapolis, on the corners of Duke of Gloucester & Conduit Street.

The name, “homeless helper” was taken from an excerpt from the shelter journal. As mentioned in the journal, homelessness is an issue that needs to be taken seriously. However, during our week of hosting, we actually have a lot of fun. Fun, not at our homeless guest’s expense, but along with our guests - many of which because of their situation have developed keen insights into human nature, and well developed senses of humor.
